Avesta Housing is a non-profit affordable housing provider, with more than forty years of experience as the leader in affordable housing development and property management in southern Maine and New Hampshire. The organization was founded in 1972, and currently has over 2,000 apartments in its portfolio. Our headquarters is located at 307 Cumberland Avenue, Portland, Maine. We also have satellite offices in numerous locations throughout southern Maine and New Hampshire. Avesta offers full-service property management, leasing, resident service coordination and maintenance services. It is Avesta’s mission to improve lives and strengthen communities by promoting and providing quality affordable homes for people in need.
