Mike Myatt has dedicated over two decades to advancing affordable housing opportunities in Maine. Since 2011, he has served as Executive Director of BangorHousing, where he leads initiatives to expand access to safe, quality, and affordable homes for individuals and families. Mike’s extensive background includes leadership roles as Vice President at Avesta Housing and Multifamily Loan Officer at MaineHousing. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Community Development Officer for the City of Lewiston, helping to shape local housing and community programs. A graduate of the University of Maine with a degree in Public Administration, Mike also completed the Executive Director Education Program through Rutgers University and PHADA. Recognized for his leadership, community outreach, and team-building skills, Mike is committed to collaborative solutions that strengthen Maine’s housing landscape.
