Updates from MAHC

MAHC staff will announce and provide a warm welcome to several new member organizations. We will highlight standout moments from our “Mainers Have Spoken” event, including key components of each gubernatorial candidate’s housing platform, as well as pertinent data points from MAHC’s July 2026 public option survey of Maine voter attitudes on housing.

Efficiency & Cost Saving Opportunities

Andy Meyer from Efficiency Maine will present on cost-saving opportunities available to multifamily stakeholders through high-efficiency water heating systems. 

Lead Presentation: DEW Constructions on Build America, Buy America (BABA) Impacts & Reform Objectives

Our featured presentation will be delivered by DEW Construction. Drawing from their hands-on experience as a builder and emerging affordable housing developer in Maine and throughout New England, DEW will dive into the real-world impacts of the Build America, Buy America (BABA) provisions. They will also outline federal-level reform objectives and ongoing advocacy efforts led in partnership with MAHC and the New England Housing Network.
